Hail & Storm Repairs

If your caravan or RV has been damaged by hail or storms, we can assess the damage and carry out the repair.

We're based in Toowoomba and specialise in hail and storm damage work on caravans, motorhomes and camper trailers. Repairs are carried out by qualified tradespeople and covered by a lifetime warranty on our workmanship.

Hail damage is often more extensive than it looks from outside. Our process is to remove fixtures and cladding so the damage underneath can be properly assessed, check the framing for water ingress and rot, then repair and refit — rather than covering over a problem that will show up again in twelve months.

We work directly with insurers and can handle the repair side of your claim. Details of the claim process are below.

The Claim Process

  1. Contact MAKS for an inspection. Call or use the enquiry form to arrange a time.
  2. Contact your insurer to lodge your claim.
    Obtain a claim number.
    Select MAKS as your repair agent.
  3. Arrange a time to bring your RV to MAKS for quotation.
  4. MAKS provides a quote to your insurance provider.
  5. Your insurer approves the claim.
  6. Advise MAKS of any further work you'd like done while the van is with us.
  7. MAKS schedules and completes your repairs.
  8. You collect your van.
